Approximately 100 lap quilts are donated yearly (at Christmas time) to the Rappahannock Area Agency on Aging. The agency gives the quilts to seniors who would otherwise not receive anything at all for Christmas. They are generally 45"x60" lap quilts. We also make walker bags, for those who may have received a quilt in the past.
Directions for making Senior Quilts
The baby quilts are generally 24" x 36". These quilts are given to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) of the Mary Washington Hospital. Over 300 quilts are given to them, yearly.
